This Victorian workhouse is set in 50 acres of lovely countryside and is based in a former workhouse opened in 1777 as a House of Industry.
NEW Gressenhall Farm & Workhouse
This Victorian workhouse is set in 50 acres of lovely countryside and is based in a former workhouse opened in 1777 as a House of Industry. In the museum you can explore how life was for the people who lived and worked here along with heritage collections that are on display. The farm keeps rare breed animals with heavy horses and displays land management and historic methods of farming. There are also gardens, museum galleries, a bookshop and café.
