Phantom of the Opera

Phantom of the Opera continues to mesmerise audiences with it's sensational music which brings the musical to life with its magical scenery and special effects.

Based on the 1910 novel “Le Fantome de l’Opéra”, The Phantom of the Opera was adapted into a musical sensation by Andrew Lloyd Webber and is currently showing at His Majesty’s Theatre, London. The musical tells the story of a mysterious phantom, who ashamed by his physical appearance and feared by all, hides beneath the Paris Opera House, terrorising the cast and crew. It is from here that he falls in love with the beautiful Christine, a young singer who he has been teaching to sing disguised as the Angel of Music. When Christine’s heart is captured by her childhood sweetheart Raoul, the Phantom is pushed to his very limits to keep Christine under his spell.

The Phantom of the Opera is the longest running Broadway musical of all time, having celebrated its 10,000 performance on Broadway in 2012, The Phantom of the Opera first opened on the West End in 1986 and is the second longest-running musical ever staged in the West End, as well as the most successful theatrical show in history. It has been seen by more than 130 million people, in 145 cities and is currently showing at His Majesty’s Theatre, London where it has been for more than 25 years. Phantom of the Opera tickets are always popular with theatre goers and many return time and time again to see this incredible show in the London’s Theatreland.
