Your outward journey today includes some free time in Bury St Edmunds. Said to be the jewel in Suffolk's crown, this pretty town with its fascinating history has something for everyone.

Maldon (Half Day)

Maldon (Half Day)
Today you have a half day excursion to one of Essex's oldest recorded towns, Maldon. Maldon has a fascinating and diverse history and a vibrant community feel to it. It has an architecturally interesting high street filled with independent shops and from there you can follow the hill down towards the waterfront. We return to Five Lakes resort this afternoon in time for some afternoon activities!

Tiptree Jam Museum

Tiptree Jam Museum & Shop (Half Day)
This morning you make the short journey to Tiptree to visit the Jam Museum, shop and tea rooms. Here you can see the history of Tiptree and see how the art of preserve making has changed over time. Make sure to visit the shop to stock up on delightful treats. After your visit here we journey back to Five Lakes in time for lunch and some afternoon activities.

Ely (Return Journey)

Your return journey includes a visit to the magnificent cathedral city of Ely. This pocket-sized city packs so much in for its many visitors, with its impressive cathedral, independent shops and many eateries.
