Located in the heart of Caen’s historic town centre, this hotel is the perfect base for this tour. Facilities at the hotel include a gym, bar and restaurant. All rooms are en suite and have air conditioning, Wi-Fi, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. This hotel does have a lift.

Utah Beach, D Day Experience Museum & La Cambe German War Cemetery
This morning you visit your first beach at Utah, where your knowledgeable guide will talk to you all about the history of the battle in Utah beach and the taking of the Normandy beaches. From here, you continue on to the D Day Experience Museum, a new attraction is so much more than just a museum. Your last visit of today is to La Cambe German War Cemetery, the largest German cemetery in Normandy and designed by Robert Tischler.
Pegasus Bridge
Pegasus Bridge Museum, Beaches, Arromanches 360 & Cambes en Plaine War Cemetary
Your day begins at Pegausus Bridge Museum, the site of the two bridges that originally stood here, the Ranville & Benouville bridges. You then continue on to Gold, Juno and Sword Beaches, which were taken over by British, British Commonwealth and Canadian forces. You next visit a new attraction for the area, Arromanches 360 which projects images across 9 screens to depict the start, battle and end of the war. Today you'll also visit Cambes en Plaine War Cemetary and various other monuments along the way.
American Cemetery
Normandy American Cemetery & Omaha Beaches
You head to Vierville-sur-Mer and head along the beaches to Omaha today, where your guide will tell you all about how the US infantry landed here and the issues they faced. From here, you continue on to Normandy American Cemetery. The site covers 172.5 acres and contains graves of over 9000 American troops, most of whom lost their lives during the landings themselves.
