Today you travel to Chester to explore at leisure. With its unique atmosphere and bewitching beauty, Chester has a 1000-year-old cathedral, the most complete city walls, the oldest racecourse and the largest Roman Amphitheatre in Britain. This evening, you begin with a drinks reception, followed by dinner. You then see in the New Year in style with live entertainment in the form of a disco.
Trentham
Trentham Gardens (New Years Day)
Enjoy a lay in this morning after last night's festivities as breakfast will be served until midday! This afternoon, you continue on to Trentham Gardens. Referred to as "one of the UK's must-see gardens" by Alan Titchmarsh, the vast perennial plantings here provide breath-taking vistas that change throughout the seasons.
