Your day begins with a 1-hour heritage river cruise from Salford Quays. You travel towards Manchester and the River Irwell, while enjoying interesting and informative commentary along the way. The remainder of the day is then yours to spend exploring Manchester at leisure. Manchester is the only UK city to feature in National Geographic's 'Best of the World' list which lists 25 of the must-see places around the globe! There is so much to see and do here, such as numerous heritage sites, eclectic restaurants, beautiful green spaces, the National Football Museum, the Arndale Centre and China Town.

Today you visit the fascinating Chester Zoo, the home of over 30,000 animals from over 500 species, there is so much to discover here! As well as being the UK's favourite zoo, it is also a non-profit international conservation charity. The 130 acre site is where species saving work is made possible.
