Your day begins with a visit to the historic Roman city of Chester, where the splendid Christmas Market will be in full swing. Enjoy time to browse the festive stalls, explore the city's unique two-storey Rows or take a stroll along the ancient Roman walls. This afternoon, you continue to Chester Zoo, home to more than 37,000 animals and renowned for its important conservation work. As dusk falls, experience the magical Lanterns and Light trail. This spectacular illuminated light walk is in partnership with Sony Music and is truly magical. Immerse yourself in a walk through the illuminations which include fibre optic tunnels, glowing jelly fish, glistening feathers, fire gardens and laser lit trees plus more all designed to surround you with colour and light. There will also be tempting food and drink as well as plenty of photo opportunities.

Birmingham Christmas Market
Today you head to Birmingham to experience the fantastic Frankfurt Christmas Market, the largest authentic German Christmas market outside of Germany and Austria. Soak up the festive atmosphere as you browse the traditional stalls offering a tempting selection of food and drink alongside a wonderful range of gifts and seasonal treats. After exploring the market, why not continue your Christmas shopping at the popular Bullring, home to a fantastic selection of well-known shops and brands.
