Your first visit of the day is to the fascinating Judges Lodging. Here you can explore the 'upstairs downstairs' life of the Victorian judges, the servants and prisoners. You'll be accompanied by an audio tour, telling you stories and taking you right back to the 1870's! From here, you continue on to Elan Valley, hidden between the rugged Cambrian Mountains. Today you take an official Park Ranger guided coach tour of the unspoilt Elan Valley, made even more compelling by the dams and reservoirs which together create a spectacular living landscape. After your
tour you will have some time to spend in the Visitor Centre.

Aberystwyth & Vale of Rheidol Railway
This morning you have some free time in the bustling town of Aberystwyth, where the harbour was once one of the busiest in Wales! This classic seaside resort has a 2km promenade which takes you past the marina, harbour and main beach. You then board the Vale of Rheidol Railway for a return journey through the ancient woodlands, meadows, rugged mountains and open fields to Devil's Bridge, home to the famous waterfalls.
