WEDNESDAY - TOSSA & LLORET DE MAR - Lloret de Mar is a busy holiday resort. Just a few kilometres away, is the quieter town of Tossa de Mar. Both towns have a rather different character yet both originally started life as an artists’ colony. Today we enjoy a visit to both locations concluding with a pleasant afternoon in Tossa de Mar with its old town and narrow, cobbled streets^.

FRIDAY - GERONA & LAKE BANYOLE - Gerona is a beautiful city that exudes a real feeling of history. Enjoy walking through the ancient streets, colourful shops and impressive city walls. Lake Banyole in the Pla de l'Estany region, is the largest natural lake in Catalonia and one of the largest on the Iberian Peninsula^.

SUNDAY - Free day to relax and enjoy.
MONDAY - FIGUERES - A few kilometres inland from Roses in the heart of Catalonia you’ll find Figueres, best-known as the birthplace of surrealist artist Salvador Dali. The town is much visited for its Dali Museum, where the artist is buried. Figueres is also the birthplace of the Sardana dance, the traditional dance of Catalonia. Also of interest here are the castle fortress of Sant Ferran, the parish church of Sant Pere, the Museum of l’ Emporda and the Toy Museum. Wherever you choose to visit, we know you will enjoy your day in this interesting town^.

WEDNESDAY - EMPORIARAVA (Little Venice) - It is said that that this stunning place has more waterways than even Venice. Whether or not this is a fact remains to be proven. Emporiarava however, has an immense number of canals, where boat owners have their own private moorings in front of their houses.

16/02/13 - Dover/Calais ferry, then overnight in France (Area to be confirmed).
17/02/13 - Travel to second overnight hotel in the Montpelier area.
18/02/13 - Travel to Main hotel for 10 nights.
28/02/13 - Depart main hotel and travel to overnight hotel in the Lyon area.
01/03/13 - Travel to second return overnight hotel in the outskirts of Paris.
02/03/13 - Calais/Dover ferry, then travel home.
