Nidderdale takes its name from the River Nidd. It is easy to see why Upper Nidderdale has been recently disignated an area of outstanding natural beauty. Unspoilt by its rich heritage, Nidderdales charm belies its proximity to the vibrant City of York, the genteel spa town of Harrogate.

Warner's Nidd Hall Hotel, Harrogate
Set in an amazing location with 45 acres of Victorian and Edwardian landscaped gardens, it is said that Edward VIII and Mrs Wallace Simpson first met at this historic hall. Facilities here include an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room, snooker table, coffee shop, bar and cabaret room.*
Your comfortable Ambassador Room and will be en suite and will have TV, radio, direct dial phone, hairdyer and tea/coffee making facilities.

Itinerary

Monday
After leaving East Anglia, we journey North to arrive at Nidd Hall late afternoon.

Tuesday
We enjoy an excursion to the beautiful spa town of Harrogate, where we spend some free time before continuing to the historic and picturesque town of Knaresborough, with its beautiful castle and viaduct overlooking the River Nidd.

Wednesday
A free day to enjoy the facilities at Nidd Hall.

Thursday
Today we enjoy a full day excursion to the beautiful City of York, the North's spiritual capital with its magnificent Minster and quaint shopping precincts.

Friday
After checking out of Nidd Hall we make the return journey home.
