Evesham is noted for its natural beauty whilst the town itself is a bustling market town on the banks of the river Avon. Although attractive at any time of the year, Evesham and the surrounding rural area are at their best in Spring when the sights of fruit trees in blossom are evident wherever your journey. A scenic route known as the Blossom Trail has been routed around Evesham for the many visitors to admire the most scenic and advantageous views of the blossom at its best. For the few weeks between mid March and mid May, the road sides are ablaze with colour - the soft pink tones of cherry and apple blossom contrast with the white of the pear and plum all of which make this tour so unique.

Itinerary

Saturday
Today we enjoy Worcester a compact City centre ideal for strolling, sightseeing and shopping. There is a great mixture of ancient buildings, modern shopping, street cafés and riverside walks for you to enjoy.

Sunday
Today we enjoy the highlight of the tour, the Vale of Evesham Blossom Tour. We depart from the hotel at 9.30am and travel to Evesham Country Park where on arrival we are greeted by our official guide who introduces us to our day’s programme. Following free time, we board the mid-day steam train for a thirty minute ride through the magnificent Orchard. After rejoining our coach, we set off with our guide for an afternoon “Blossom Country” tour stopping in the Cotswolds at Broadway. After returning the guide to the park, we continue back to our hotel after what has been a most enjoyable day.

Monday
We check out of the hotel at 10.00am and make the leisurely journey to Bedford where we enjoy free time for lunch etc... The compact, pedestrianised centre has more than 300 shops, several department stores and arcades. Further afield you will find an array of gardens and riverside walks. No matter what you choose to do, we know you will enjoy your time in this charming town.
