This morning we arrive in Stamford to meet our Guide; to really appreciate the beauty of Stamford we have arranged for a WALKING tour to see the sights and hear about the history of this lovely market town. The walk is taken at a leisurely pace but does take about an hour and 15 minutes; so wear your comfy shoes!!! After stretching your legs you rejoin the coach for the drive to Burghley House where we will spend the afternoon to view the house and gardens perhaps have lunch in the Garden Café’ or Orangery Restaurant the choice is yours? Don’t forget to visit the Garden of Surprises!! The gift shop and garden shop. Enjoy your day! Price includes walking tour, entrance to Burghley House and Gardens.
