Ipswich
Ipswich is one of England's oldest towns, and a working port. Spend a day to enjoy what Ipswich has to offer with some shopping, musems, to meet up with friends and have some lunch before we journey home.

Although the centre has been redeveloped, some of the original town has been preserved and many old streets still remain with timber clad houses.

Colchester Day Excursion
Colchester is the oldest recorded town in Britain, was originally a settlement before the Romans came, the Romans were attacked and Colchester destroyed by Queen Boadicea in the year AD60.

Colchester is a good place for a family day out, with museums, park, the castle, zoo, and other things to do as well as shopping. There are small specialist shops as well as the well known stores in the shopping arcades.

Wroxham and The Southern Comfort Cruise [Fully Booked]
We travel to Wroxham where you will have time to look round the shops, get yourself some lunch before we take the short journey on to the beautiful village of Horning; here you will board The Southern Comfort for a 3pm cruise on the broads. The Southern Comfort is a double-deck paddle boat purpose built for the Broads .The boat is a luxury river cruiser which runs regular trips from the beautiful village of Horning, along the River Bure through the village and out to Ranworth Broad and back, passing lovely old thatched houses, windmills and Norfolk reed beds. Throughout the trip there is an excellent commentary and continual pointing out of all the water birds around at the time. There is the ever present bustle of river traffic with cruisers, yachts and the occasional wherry…Southern Comfort cruise included in the price.

RHS Event at Blacksmiths Cottage Nursery (LOWESTOFT PICK UPS ONLY)NewSpecial Offer
For the first time ever, we have a day excursion to this Specialist Plant Fare supported by the Royal Horicultural Society, and is the only RHS event this year in our region.

Blacksmiths Cottage Nursery is situated in South Norfolk which specialises in perennials and woodland plants. With a selection of display beds on the nursery including Gravel Beds, Shade Beds and the Barn Garden.

The potting shed is the multi-purpose building on the nursery where they serve homemade refreshments, for tea, coffee, cakes and sandwiches or alternatively why not take a picnic! Also there will be a local farm shop catering van to spend, spend, spend!

There is 25 local specialist plant nurseries attending plus crafts and artists. RHS and advisory team members will be on hand to answer any gardening questions. Together with guided tours, talks and demonstrations.

There will be a lecture by Bob Flowerdew, who is Britain's leading organic gardener, who has written several books and you can find him on BBC Radio 4 Gardeners Question Time.

London Eye and River Cruise [Fully Booked]
Today we journey to London to take a flight on the London Eye: this takes you on a gradual, 30 minute, 360 degree rotations that will give you the kind of panoramic views usually only accessible by helicopter or aeroplane. For Londoners and visitors alike, it really is the best way to see London and it's many celebrated landmarks. Afterwards we take The London Eye River Cruise which departs conveniently from the pier at the London Eye. Highlights of the 40 minute circular cruise include St Paul's Cathedral, the Houses of Parliament, Tower of London, HMS Belfast, Shakespeare's Globe, Tate Modern and the Millennium Bridge. Suitable in all weather as the boat has both covered and sun deck seating. Both decks are accessible for wheelchair users. Admission is included.

Bury St Edmunds (LOWESTOFT PICK UPS ONLY)
Bury St Edmunds is a beautiful mediaevel town to visit. You can take the Abbey Trail through the town and visit the old Abbey Ruins, the remains of the great Benedictine Abbey, destroyed in the dissolution of 1539. The town has excellent leisure and shopping facilities. Wednesdays and Saturdays are market days, when the town becomes great for all you bargain hunters.

Bury is a splendid place to visit with a warm welcome making shopping a real pleasure.

Romford Market
Romford Market is an open market with some 270 stalls. Its history dates back over 750 years where it originated as a sheep market.

Today the market continues to thrive and is considered to be one of the largest and best street markets in the South East. In recent years the Council has invested approximately £8 million on improvements to drainage, lighting, surfacing and electricity supplies ensuring that the market experience is attractive to all who visit.
